MKSLaser: Mobile App for Engraving Machine Control
MKSLaser is a free Android application developed by Guangzhou Qianhui Information Technology Co.Ltd. It is designed to allow mobile phones to interact with MKS DLC32 engraving machines. To use the app, ensure that your mobile phone and the engraving machine are connected to the same local area network. You can either enter the IP address of the machine or scan for the machine within the network. Once connected, you can perform various operations such as controlling the stepper motor, switching the laser head, positioning, file transfer, engraving, and monitoring engraving information.
The homepage of MKSLaser features a connection button at the top left, which allows you to enter the IP address or scan for the engraving machine. The upper display shows the current X/Y coordinates and laser intensity of the machine. There are four large buttons at the bottom that lead to different submenus.
In the "Creation" submenu, you can edit pictures using various sources such as drawing on the mobile phone screen, taking pictures, or selecting existing pictures. You can adjust brightness, contrast, and other effects, as well as modify file names, picture sizes, engraving rates, and laser power. The app also allows for contour engraving, where you can define the engraving range on the mobile app. Once all parameters are adjusted, you can slice and upload the file to the engraving machine for engraving.
The "Control" submenu enables you to control the engraving machine's stepper motor, set different steps and moving speeds, return the motor to zero position, and unlock the motor.
In the "Material" submenu, you can choose from a selection of built-in graphics materials for engraving.
Lastly, the "Graving" submenu allows you to access the file list on the TF card of the engraving machine, where you can select a file for engraving.
